David Genchi has been publishing with Hollow Press since 2017: in 2018 he published “Lo Fallo Perduto”, nominated for best debut work at the Micheluzzi Award at Napoli Comicon, and in 2019 “La Gameti” was released, then nominated for best single author at the Boscarato Award at TCBF.
In 2022, he launched himself into the world of comic books and games alongside his brother-in-arms William Genchi, creating the fantasy-trash-nonsense project Analwizards, presented for the first time at Lucca Comics & Games, which earned David a nomination for best Italian illustrator at the Boscarato Award at TCBF 2023 and the Genchi duo a nomination for the Librogame's Land Award.
In 2023, he continued to explore the world of games and illustrated the RPG Manosinistra - Necrobriscola published by Hollow Press in collaboration with Ignoranza Eroica. In May 2024, together with the twisted minds of Marco Taddei and Simone Alberto Grifone, he created a roguelike board game, Cyberflesh.
At Lucca Comics & Games 2024, BOB is released, co-written with Michele Marchetti and nominated for the Micheluzzi Award for Best Comic.
In 2025, he publishes the board game POZZO, again accompanied by Simone Alberto Grifone and Marco Taddei.
At Lucca Comics & Games 2025, Kartomantik, the Genchi brothers' first card game, is released.
