
Fabrizio Petrossi (Naples, 1966) made his comic book debut in the early 1990s with Topolino. During that time, he illustrated several covers for Topomistery, and among his most notable comic stories is La battaglia di Alamo, part of the series C’era una volta in America. In 1995, he was hired by the Walt Disney Consumer Products Creative Center in Paris as a Character Artist. During this period, he worked on various styleguides and was involved in training new artists. In 2004, he returned to freelance work, continuing to collaborate with Disney as an illustrator and comic artist for Egmont, Le Journal de Mickey, and later Panini Comics. Notable works from this period include the graphic novels Topolino e i tre Moschettieri (2004) and Epic Mickey (2012).
Starting in 2010, he also began working with Nickelodeon (on titles like SpongeBob and Paw Patrol) and especially with Disneyland Paris, illustrating several posters featuring Disney characters for park attractions such as Meet Mickey, Crush Coaster, and Tapis Volant. In 2018, he illustrated the album Mickey à travers les siècles for French publisher Glénat, followed by Picsou et le Dragon de Glasgow in 2022 for the same series. Since 2018, he has been responsible for creating covers for the French magazine Le Journal de Mickey. For Lucca Comics & Games 2025, he created the variant cover for Topolino issue #3649.
