Manuela Schiano, Neapolitan by birth and Roman by adoption, has been devoted to comics and illustration since she was very young. After finishing art school, she fell in love with theater. She is an author, director, actress, prop maker, and guarattelle (Neapolitan puppets) maker. Twelve years later, she returned to paper, mainly as an illustrator, favoring erotic subjects inspired by bondage and Japanese folklore stories. Her illustrations and interviews have been published in national and international magazines: Yūgen Studio Magazine (Italy), Kinbaku Society of Berlin (Germany), Schlagzeilen (Germany). Meanwhile, she began writing, drawing storyboards, and directing music videos. She has just completed her comic book ‘kappa notebook’ and is working on her next comic book and illustrations for a role-playing game.
