Valerio Schiti

Guest - Valerio Schiti

Roman comic book artist Valerio Schiti (born in 1979) has been collaborating with Marvel since 2011. Among his early works are a short story published in Ghost Rider and then Journey into Mystery. In 2013, he joined the pages of Guardians of the Galaxy, and when the series was relaunched in 2015, he became its main artist. In 2018, he took on Tony Stark: Iron Man, which he illustrated for a couple of years, followed by more cosmic/space-themed titles such as the event miniseries Empyre and S.W.O.R.D., as well as Inferno and A.X.E.: Judgment Day, written respectively by Jonathan Hickman and Kieron Gillen. Together with Hickman, he created G.O.D.S. in 2023, a miniseries that radically redefined the more metaphysical side of the Marvel Universe. He later worked on several issues of The Avengers and, alongside Chip Zdarsky, on Captain America. At Lucca Comics & Games 2025, he presents the first issue of the highly anticipated relaunch of the Captain America comic book, also available in the Captain America – Creator’s Cut edition, a giant hardcover format with black-and-white interiors and an exclusive cover created by the artist for the occasion.

The author will be present from October 31 to November 2.
