Born on December 31, 1987, in the village of Żytno, Poland, Bartosz Zaskórski devotes himself to illustration, comics, electronic music, writing short stories, producing radio programs, and crafts. His work suggests a highly distorted view of the pop culture of his youth, with a penchant for mutants, oddities, absurdities, and dark humor. In 2020, he received his doctorate from the Academy of Fine Arts. As a musician, he has performed under the stage name “Mchy i porosty” (Moss and Lichens), producing mainly lo-fi electronic music based on synthesizers. His tracks have been released by numerous record labels, and his music appears in the video game Cyberpunk 2077. Bartosz also volunteers at an animal shelter in Krakow.
