The “Area Pro” is a reference point for the industry professionals, a meeting, sharing and a debating place, in which Lucca Comics & Games offers spaces dedicated to the necessities of every single operator.
Lucca Comics & Games sets up a schedule rich in job meetings to make the contact between editors and authors easier, fostering concrete job opportunities for young creative minds.
This year, the “Area Pro” is situated at the second floor of Palazzo Guinigi, that is the cultural bustling core of the festival, in which you can freely visit the held exhibitions.
Choose from a great variety of editors, fill out the form within October 13rd at 3pm and upload your portfolio online. These year, nine international editors will be present at Lucca: CB Cebluski (Marvel), David Scroggy, Robert Gould (Imaginosis Media Design), Cédric Illard (Glènat). Collaborating with star comics, Joachim Kaps (Altraverse), Juliette Bartolo (Kana), Alexandra Pierres Sachez (Planeta Cómic) and Eisaburo Yamasaki (Futabasha) in collaboration with JPop.
The events featuring international editors will be carried out in English.
If your works get selected, you will obtain a personal meeting and will receive the confirmation at the mail address specified in the subscription form.
To access the “Area Pro”, the selected authors DO NOT have to own a ticket. They will receive all the necessary information and the access details through the confirmation e-mail.
