Even this year some festival areas are free-to-entry, without tickets or bracelets. An ideal occasion to get to know Lucca Comics & Games. 

FAMILY PALACE 

The Family Palace is located near Real Collegio di Lucca, in Collegio square, which will hold Lucca Junior. The latter is an exhibition entirely dedicated to children, with guests and a programme of events tailored for them. 

SELF AREA & UNDERGROUND COMICS 

A Self Area dedicated to independent realities. Even in 2025 is located in the areas of Biblioteca Agorà (Via delle Trombe, 6) hosting the best self-produced comics. The ideal place to discover new and niche talents. 

AREA PRO 

Aspirant cartoonists and editors, craving fresh talents, will meet in the “Area Pro”! The access is granted even without tickets, but is reserved to those who have been selected by editors for job interviews. To enter the selection, it is necessary to apply using the dedicated form. All the related information is provided on this website. 

IMT LIBRARY – GAME SCIENCE 

It is an area located in San Ponziano square, in which two different types of activities will take place: 

  • Area Talk: a programme rich in seminars and workshops about the theme of the game, created for educational, scientific and social purposes.
  • Area Demo: exhibitions of board and digital games, prototypes of scientific ones, role playing and much more. 

COMMUNITY VILLAGE & COSPLAY 

Visit Giardino degli Osservanti, the official hotspot for cosplayers and content creators, full of events and activities, as well as areas dedicated to 501º Italica Garrison, Rebel Legion, Umbrella Italian Dividion, Gotham Shadows. 

FREE-ENTRY EXHIBITIONS 

For the entire duration of the festival, from October 29th up to November 2nd, 2025, exhibitions are free-to-entry for everyone, except for the ones that are held in areas accessible with tickets and bracelets only. 

ENJOY LUCCA AND ITS WALLS 

The city is to be discovered strolling on the urban walls. Some of the pavilions on the walls require tickets to be entered, but the rest can be visited freely.
