There’s great news for fans of independent American comics: Mike Richardson, the mind behind one of the most dynamic forces in the publishing world, is coming to Lucca Comics & Games.
He is the founder and CEO of Dark Horse Media, which includes Dark Horse Comics and Dark Horse Entertainment. Dark Horse Comics is the award-winning international publishing house founded in 1986, while Dark Horse Entertainment has produced numerous projects for film and television. This group also includes Things From Another World, a pop culture retail chain. This success has been possible thanks to his talent for discovering gifted creators, guaranteeing the intellectual property rights of their works and fair compensation.
But that’s not all! From October 29 to November 2, fans will also have the chance to meet David Scroggy, a pillar of Dark Horse for over 20 years, who shares with Lucca Comics & Games 50 years of experience in the world of comics. Over his career, he has held every editorial and creative role imaginable, from agent to shop owner, from essayist to festival director, until becoming vice president and then head of the Product Development department at Dark Horse.
